TSV's new website will be launched at the end of October

The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) will launch its new website in the last week of October. The redesigned website aims to highlight TSV’s role in the research community and society at large, and to make it easier for website users to find the information they need.
TSV is preparing for a major communications renewal. In the last week of October, it will launch its new website and updated visual identity.
– A consistent visual identity and a redesigned website make it easier to communicate the significance of TSV’s work to advance science. This benefits our member societies, experts in the research community, partners and the public interested in science, says Anna Kotaviita, TSV’s Head of Communications.
The redesigned website brings TSV’s wide-ranging work together in a more cohesive way. This creates synergies between its activities and helps visitors move smoothly from one piece of content to another.
– Ideally, visitors will discover the full range of TSV’s activities, including content they might not have thought to look for. One of our key aims is to make the website clear and easy to use, Kotaviita says.
The new website will also bring together information about TSV’s strategically important coordination work within the research community. This information was previously spread across several websites. The URLs avointiede.fi/en and julkaisufoorumi.fi/en will redirect to the new site.
The renewal was prompted by TSV’s new strategy for 2024–2030 and the fact that the current website had reached the end of its technical life. TSV staff have contributed to the website redesign, and partnes have tested the site ahead of its launch. TSV will continue to collect feedback to guide further development. TSV's partner in the website renewal was Exove Oy.
